Q: Does this include the faceplate?
A: Yes, The faceplate is included. There is one that you screw to the wall and then the outer one that snaps over and has the clean look that you see.
A: Just one. See instructions online for your specific Caseta switch.
Q: Does this work with 2.4 ghz and/or 5 ghz Wi-Fi? New router seem to only have 5ghz.
A: Neither, JD: when you have a bridge installed, it operates on its own proprietary wireless network apart from your broadband Wi-Fi. Without the bridge, however, this is essentially a “dumb” switch.
A: I've used this switch with various light types, so it should work fine for all. Yes, you will need a switch for each light.
A: The PD-6WCL can be installed at any of the three locations for this 4-way lighting circuit. For ease of install, Lutron recommend installing the PD-6WCL at one of the 3-way locations. The remaining two locations will need to be replaced with Pico remotes, as well. If the mechanical switches are left in place, the PD-6WCL will not have a constant connection to power and load, therefore affecting how it operates.
A: Not as far as I know. It will either replace the light on/off or the fan remote but not do both. There may be another product that will replace both but this one replaces one switch.
A: The PD-6WCL is a line voltage dimmer. Lutron does not recommend using this dimmer on a low voltage lighting circuit. It is important to note, as well, that Lutron does not test for compatibility with third party drivers/transformers. It is suggested that you contact the manufacturer of the transformer/track lights to obtain a list of compatible dimmers for this product.
