The frame is tig-welded steel for strength and durability, and protected by a beautiful, tough powder-coat finish. It rides on smooth rolling, solid, flat-free tires. Comfortable nylon upholstery is easy to keep clean and features antimicrobial protection to help keep your chair fresh and clean by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew continuously. Hemi-height dual axles allow for regular use or foot-power for greater independence. Footrests are easily adjustable and can be swung to the side and locked out of way when needed. Removable desk-length armrests let you sit as close to tables and desks as you like. (This product does not protect users or others against disease-causing bacteria.)

A: there is some assembly that is required and it does not come with a seat belt. Yes you can push this outdoors for short distances.

A: That's a great question. This wheelchair does not come with a pad. This chair ships partially assembled, and the leg rests are not attached, so you would be able to leave them off if you choose.

A: That's a great question. These arm rests are fully removable but it is not recommended that they be reversed. You may be interested in a wheelchair with "full-length arms" rather than "desk-length arms." I hope this is helpful!
