OEM pen with Go2 for OneNote and doodling...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used with a Surface Go 2 >> The Surface Pen is not a necessity, like the keyboard, but is definitely nice to have for taking notes and doodling. Since I use OneNote for keeping class notebooks, journals, and planning - a pen is essential to allow full use of the software. The pen sticks very nicely to the side of the Go 2, and I have discovered that the pen tip makes it much easier to touch those small icons on the taskbar. I had an older model 'second generation' pen (has the eraser tip with a 'clip' on the barrel) already in use, and this newer version is pretty much the same except for improved sensitivity to pressure, and the "tilt" function which is VERY nice to have when doodling. Those two improvements would make it worth the cost of buying this newest model pen if you do any drawing or doodling. If you are just taking notes and only interested in handwriting, the older model pen works pretty much the same for writing and recognition. The AAAA battery comes with it, and from what I have read does not need replacing very often. Pen automatically turns off when not in use, so no "button clicking" needed for it to be instantly ready to use when needed. Also picked up the 3-pack of assorted size tips to try out but haven't tried the different sizes yet to see if there is much difference. There are other pens out there, but check to see if they have Bluetooth (most do not) and check for 'eraser on top' function (most have button-push erasing). If you need the Bluetooth and like the 'eraser on top' method, then this pen is going to be the best solution. An OEM pen is usually the best device to use, unless you have a very good reason to try something else. Stay Safe!

Excellence microsoft pen for surface pro
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Microsoft pen is an excellent, a must buy accessory for surface pro. The writing response is top notch and it has incredible palm rejection feature. The eraser feature is also a great feature because all you do is flip the pen and use the eraser like the way you use real like pencil. I actually have two of them now. I recommend it and i think you won’t regret buying it

Perfect device for writing, drawing, doodling
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you hate typing and love writing /drawing/doodling, the Surface pen is a great implement to have in your hand. It works with many apps ( adobe photoshop, one note, Microsoft to do, sketch, snippet, word etc.) hence getting familiarity with the device is essential.

Love the pen
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The pen is great with the Microsoft surface pro. I did try to get a cheaper pen with someone else but it just didn't cut it. The surface pen is definitely worth the buy oh and I mention the pen is magnetic and it clips naturally to either side of the computer and the top tip of the computer serves as a white board function and a eraser amongst other uses

Must have that enhances your experience
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The surface pen is a great addition to my Surface Pro 7 experience. I love that it magnetically attaches to the Surface. The magnets are strong enough that it will not haphazardly fall off. The tip of this pen is nice and smooth, I don’t have that tapping sound and feeling like the Apple Pencil. It feels like I am writing on paper which does enhance the writing experience. On the back end, it can be used as an “eraser “ when writing. Also, tapping the button will also bring up Windows Whiteboard, an easy tap when I need to take notes. Again, the Surface Pen is a must have if you own a Surface computer.

Q: QuestionIs this pen compatible with a Dell Inspiron 15 5000?
Asked by Nico.
- A:Answer That's a misleading answer. It actually depends if the Dell in question is compatible with Windows Ink. I tested my Surface Pro 3 pen on an HP Envy x360 and a Dell Inspiron 5000 (I think) and it worked. Maybe not all the features work, but if the technology is N-trig, then it will work.
