Works perfectly with Macbook Pro (2016)
Now that my children are doing online/remote learning for school (due to the Coronavirus pandemic), they are constantly relying on our Spectrum internet/Wifi router. However, as many of us know, Wifi connection is not foolproof, and my teens are constantly complaining that their connection is getting dropped during class time even though we should be getting 400mbps and they are sitting right by Spectrum's Wifi router! So I decided to connect my daughter's Macbook Pro (2016) directly to ethernet from the router. But MacBook Pro doesn't have an ethernet port, so I purchased this Microsoft-Surface USC-C to Ethernet adapter, and IT WORKS PERFECTLY!! You connect the USB-C to the Macbook Pro, and you connect the ethernet to the ethernet port on the adapter. And there is an indicator light that confirms data transfer/direct connection so you know it's working. Now I don't hear my teenager complaining! Thank you!
