A: The Curve 50 is an amplified antenna and the amp has a 15dB gain. The number of pixels is dependant on the type of TV that you have.
Q: Does this replace having to have a cable provider?
A: I purchased and I get all network affiliates within a 50 mile range in HD quality. I also use Netflix and Hulu through my Amazon Fire stick using Apps. It is still way cheaper per month. $65 dollars to be exact.
A: Valley's can be tricky and your TV is too old to work with a digital antenna on it's own. You'll need to search the internet for a search tool that will allow you to enter in your complete address so you can do a channel scan to see if there are viable signals in your area. As for the older TV you may be able to add a digital converter box to your older TV that will allow you to use a digital antenna. Ask the Blue Shirts at Best Buy for help choosing the right converter box for your situation. The make and model of the antenna would help them help you so make sure you take that info with you.
Q: I do no see set information?
A: As long as your TV was made prior to 2009 OR as long as it has an ATSC tuner it should work with a digital antenna. If there is no ATSC tuner you can purchase a digital converter box to connect the antenna to your TV.
