Nextar - 8GB* MP3 Player - Black

We purchased this for our 10 year old son and after several problems have already returned it. The external speaker kept kicking on even when the headphones were plugged in. It would not play all the songs I put on it. I even tried deleting them and reloading. Some of the buttons started going bad after 1 week. It was also kind of confusing to use. My son figured it out, but he did not like it. I don't know if we got a lemon, but we just asked for our money back and not an exchange. Even though it was cheap for a lot of GB, it was not worth it.

I was not disappointed concerning the price which was excellent. the operation of loading and unloading to the device is as simple as any other storage device. My disappointment is with the functionality of the unit. The controls are not intuitive and they take some time to acquire. My biggest drawback is that you cannot stop in the middle of a podcast and return to that point at a later time. You do have the ability to fastforward but don't let your finger slip or you'll be starting over.

I was very impressed and pleased with the storage space for such a low price.

There are some features I haven't tried yet. I mostly play music on it and so far so good !

The player functional weel, no issues at all. The one feature it lacks that I miss is the ability to categorize music or create playlists. For the price, this is not expected though, you get what you pay for. For the price, this is an excellent MP3 player, just lacks one feature that I dearly miss.

I bought this product for my son as a Christmas present and have not been able to figure it out yet. I have done everything that the instructions have said and even accessed the website for futher help and nothing has worked. It shouldn't be that difficult to get a $40.00 gadget to work. I would not recomend this to anyone. A big mistake!
