Q: Do these cameras record continuously?

Q: Can this system function without internet?
A: Your Night Owl device only needs to be connected to a modem/router if you wish to view it remotely on a PC/MAC or a Smart Device. To remotely view your system, you must manually connect an Ethernet cable from your modem/router to the DVR/NVR. Q: Do you have an option that has audio and video
A: yes but only 1 way... they can hear you... the quality of human faces is horrible... lights are NOT bright... it seems cheaply made, selling for higher cause it has a light, siren and app... you cant adjust much of anything except brightness and most of this you have to do through the app, not the dvr which is stupid
Q: can you add audio to the dvr?
A: The cameras have a speaker to play an included message or a siren sound. They have no microphone to record sound and I don't believe there is a provision to record sound.
Q: Can these cameras read license plate?
A: DEFINITELY NOT

Q: what is the length of the cables?

Q: Can I use my phone to see the recordings
A: Yes. This system works with our Night Owl Protect App for remote viewing from your mobile Smart Device. You can download it in the App Store or Google PlayStore.
