A: Yes, it works fine.

A: Yes there is a cutout in the built in screen protector

A: No it is meant for 5, 5S & SE models
Q: Is this case for an iPhone XS Max? How many pieces is this case?
A: No. It is for the 5s which is much smaller than the iphone XS MAX.
Q: Is the OtterBox Commuter series case of the SE have a rubber exterior.
A: Rubber for the inner first part and hard plastic as outer part.
Q: Does this cover the lightning port?
A: My se uses a micro USB for charging, and this case has a dust cover (tab) for the charging port. The port is easily accessed when charging is needed.
A: Apparently like many U.S. companies Otterbox has been having their products made in other countries as well as in the USA. My Otterbox Commuter was made in China but I have seen pictures in reviews, ads and descriptions that have the USA, Mexico or China imprint.
