Q: What is the difference between Pursuit Series and regular Otter box
A: By “regular” do you mean the thick defender? If you do, then the Pursuit series is thinner and slightly less protective. The defender is really only necessary if you regularly use your phone in extreme environments. In order of protection from most to least is the Defender, Pursuit, Commuter, then Symmetry. The Symmetry is the least protective, but it is the thinnest if that is the most important to you. For the majority of phone users, the symmetry is plenty. The Pursuit is a step up and not much thicker. It is probably the most protective case for its size on the market.
