Easy to install and use
I was surprised how easy it was to install Parallels and transfer the OS and all applications, documents, photos and device drivers from my laptop to a new iMac. After installation, my iMac looks and acts just like my laptop. It took me about a day to get used to Parallels. Switching between Mac and Windows is a keystroke away. I no longer need my Macbook and Windows laptops. I have both on one machine, including online backups of all my important files. There are some display resolution issues with a few application and popup windows. Windows Gadgets do not render properly, and there have been some hangs that didn't happen on my Windows laptop. With some Google searching and settings adjustments (such as, Compatibility), most of the issues have been mitigated. I am satisfied with Parallels and think the software is good.

New imac
I chose parallels for my new iMac because the software I need to use for my job works well on it. So far everything has gone smoothly. I am running it with the windows 10 operating system. I'll update if I run into any problems.

Easier than I thought, but also tons of features.
I bought this to be able to run Quickbooks for PC on my Mac. Apparently, there are a lot of missing features in the int Mac version of Quickbooks, according to my accountant. It was super easy to install. It runs very smooth, and sort of fun to see Windows working fluidly with Mac OS. Only quirky thing was setting the graphics preferences. I'm running it on a MacBook Pro with a very high resolution screen, and Windows didn't quite recognize that resolutions. The solution was to adjust the percentage that windows needed to zoom to get a similar resolution.
