I was surprised how easy it was to install Parallels and transfer the OS and all applications, documents, photos and device drivers from my laptop to a new iMac. After installation, my iMac looks and acts just like my laptop. It took me about a day to get used to Parallels. Switching between Mac and Windows is a keystroke away. I no longer need my Macbook and Windows laptops. I have both on one machine, including online backups of all my important files. There are some display resolution issues with a few application and popup windows. Windows Gadgets do not render properly, and there have been some hangs that didn't happen on my Windows laptop. With some Google searching and settings adjustments (such as, Compatibility), most of the issues have been mitigated. I am satisfied with Parallels and think the software is good.

I chose parallels for my new iMac because the software I need to use for my job works well on it. So far everything has gone smoothly. I am running it with the windows 10 operating system. I'll update if I run into any problems.

I bought this to be able to run Quickbooks for PC on my Mac. Apparently, there are a lot of missing features in the int Mac version of Quickbooks, according to my accountant. It was super easy to install. It runs very smooth, and sort of fun to see Windows working fluidly with Mac OS. Only quirky thing was setting the graphics preferences. I'm running it on a MacBook Pro with a very high resolution screen, and Windows didn't quite recognize that resolutions. The solution was to adjust the percentage that windows needed to zoom to get a similar resolution.

It provided the best Virtual Machine to date with this MAC Software I was able to run Windows 10 Applications and install Windows 10 on EL Captain on my Mac Book Pro. Running Windows 10 Applications was nice and smooth. I felt this is the product to go with if you want to run Windows applications on your mac the easiest way. It very simple to uninstall the Windows 10 Virtual Machine.

I needed to use a Windows only software program for work, and the software representative recommended Parallels since we are using iMacs in the office. It was easy to load, but I had a hard time installing Windows automatically. I eventually got Windows installed but had to do it manually.

Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac gives its users the ability to run Windows OS, as well as, other OS on a Mac computer. Simple installation and setup. Works seamlessly well.

Parallels is so easy to install. I ordered the product online and it came very quick. Within about two days. It is very seamless to use on my new Macbook. You can go from using Mac to Windows with just a click of a button. There seems to be quite a few websites that still require windows. I also am self employed and the software that I use will not work on Mac but with Parallels it works just fine. I have transitioned from PC to Mac and having windows on my Mac makes life that much easier. I love my Macbook as well. I would recommend buying a Macbook too!

Hey, it does what it's supposed to do. I can't say I care for the goofiness in Coherence but I suppose at best it's a giant hack to use the desktops of two OSes as "integrated". Luckily I'm an old hand at Windows so swapping key-combos is no issue to me, but integrated clipboard can be wonky. I also don't care for the preferences layouts and it can be confusing to figure config out but it mainly does what it needs to do.

I always heard Parallels is the best Mac virtualization software for Windows. Sure it works great with your desktop, you can add it just into the dock to access windows type programs and files, but for gaming it sucks. The top gaming is only 1024x768 4.3. So I wouldn't reccomend it if you like some gaming on Windows on your Mac. Just install Windows into bootcamp that makes a partition for it so windows can use the full power of your mac hardware.

Easy to install, works great with MAC. Computer runs great with it installed.

I bought this for my mac and I love it. I installed it and windows 10 myself. I love the fact that I can be running something on the windows side and be on the internet on the mac side at the same time. The best of both worlds. With boot camp, to my understanding, thats not possible . I will never go back to a windows computer. but every so often I need a program that isn't made for mac. So this is the best way to go. From here on out, I will just purchase parallels and windows software when iI purchase a new mac. I highly recommend it. Also the young men that helped me at the Fort Smith AR Best Buy store are very knowledgeable and were great help.

I work in the IT field for the last 15+ years recently purchased a Mac and certain things I can do on my Mac that I just had to have windows with this program made it very easy for me to have my Mac OS in my Windows operating system

So far the parallels program works well; I need it for program that only works on windows. Very easy to install and even prompted the windows install after.

I am very pleased to have discovered Parallels so I can use my Mac with windows only software that I need for certain projects. It is easy to use and I switch between Apple and Windows with no problems.

I use this on 2 MACs and my MacBookPro to run Windows 7 so I can access 2 programs that are not available for Mac. Microsoft Access and software specific to my embroidery machine.

The program installed on my MAC very easily and allowed the installation of windows and another program that is not available for MAC OS! They are working great!

this software is easy to install and once installed...just install Windows 10 on your Mac and you will have both ends of the world ( Windows 10 and El Capitan)

Parallels did it again. This is a great upgrade from the previous version. Very stable and supports WIndows 10.

Needed a program to install windows software on my new macbook and was glad this product was available to do that.

this product works soft and smooth with my iMac, would highly recommend for anyone wanting to use multiple OS's.
