Very good product for hands free calling
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tone is good. The only problem I have is selecting a caller from my call list via voice command

Overall Good, but buggy.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this unit for about two years. It is a great concept, but Parrot has not made substantial improvements to the quality of the software, or the quality of user experience. It is very buggy. About 50% of the time, the unit will miscue on commands and functionality. When calling for audio for youtube, for example, the unit will start playing a song from the song library. Occasionally, the unit will just start playing a song for no reason. Software updates are available, but the software upgrades do not seem to solve the problems with functionality. Additionally, the unit has a hard time trying to decide which device to sync with. Sometimes when I try to cue audio on my iPhone, my iPad will play a song. All in all, knowing what I know now, I would still buy the Parrot because I haven't been able to find very many alternatives in the built-in handsfree arena. I wish they would improve on the experience of their handsfree products instead of focusing on toy helicopters.

Great Unit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the MKi 9000 in my 2006 Odyssey for quite some time. I just sold the car and I'm ordering a new unit to have installed in the new vehicle. I work in on the road sales and I won't be without a hands free system again!

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I must say that I was very excited about buying this product for my mother for Christmas. When I called about installation I was told that I needed additional parts before they could schedule installation. I have been looking for the part for two days. I am very disappointed.

Q: QuestionCan this be used with galaxy 5? Is it all in one or are there additional pieces needed to use in car.
Asked by Jane.
- A:Answer I have used a Samsung Note 3, Samsung Galaxy 7 edge and a few other phones without any connection issues. As for the connection, I purchased a third party wire harness kit to make the installation a breeze. You do not need to purchase the additional wire harness kit, but it makes the installation 10 times easier and faster.

- A:Answer Sound coming from car stereo sounds good, but tends to be on the lower side. I usually have to increase the volume when I am on the phone.

Q: QuestionCan this be used in older model cars
Asked by Denkat.
- A:Answer I had this Parrot on my 2009 Ford Taurus SEL and it worked fine. I could answer my iPhone by vocal command or pushing the green button. I could easily play iHeart radio through my original car radio. I could easily swap between iHeart and AM radio. I could recall that last dialed call by holding the green button for 2 seconds. Voice dialing worked most times for my most frequently called numbers. However, I have such a large "Rollodex" of numbers that I rarely use, but want to keep these contacts for historical and perhaps infrequent use. Unfortunately, my 'voice command' will attempt to dial the wrong person because of a similar name. That is the only frustrating part of its use. If I could put those phone numbers in an archival (not accessible by Parrot) "box" that would be perfect. I just bought another 2009 Ford Taurus (but with 105,000 miles less) and will have a new one installed.
