A: There is a thumb screw behind the square metal holder in the picture, which allows the square, as well as the TV that it is attached too, to move about 20 degrees up, or down from true horizontal. I had to hang mine high, for a dresser underneath, and tilted it down for easier TV viewing.
A: Mine is mounted in one stud on a 40”. Very sturdy no plastic.
Q: My 43" tv has a VESA of 200 x 200... Will this mount be good for it?
A: Yes it will work and there are several screws provided and spacers if needed.
Q: What is the distance between the wall mount holes?
A: The holes that mount the tv bracket to the wall/stud are approximately 8 inches apart from center of one wall mount hole to center of second one. Could be off by 1/4 of an inch or so, but that is close. I am not a handyman and installed it myself with no problem and could not be happier with the product. It would have been much easier with 2 people, though. I used it to hang a 32" television.

A: No your tv is too big. This mount can only support up to 50" tv's.
