The lead is stronger than normal pencils. I love the twisty eraser. I usually go through the erasers quickly and I still have not gone through this one.

I have used these pencils for over 25 years and love them. They feel good in my hand, the eraser is great, and I like their durability. First rate product.

Some mechanical pencils have problems with the lead not staying out, but that doesn't happen with these pencils. They work well.

Got these pencils at best buy -- not sure why they don't sell pens, but these were fine. I like the added erasers.
