Q: What is the price for installation?
A: Geeks squad from best buy for about $70. Plus you have to buy a installation kit. About another $50 to $100.
Q: Call quality on receiving end?
A: I use the hands free calling all the time while driving at highway speeds. The microphone installed with the radio is a really good one and if you have the microphone angled toward you at the right position, the people who are calling you will have no idea that you are even driving. It's really easy to push the talk button to answer but when you are trying to call someone through the radio, it is very distracting while driving to scroll through your contacts to find the person that you want to call.
Q: Does it display the artist and song?
A: I listen to my music off my phone, thru Bluetooth, and it does display the same information that's on my phone. It shows the song name, the artist, and the album name.
Q: Is it compatible with iPhone 6
A: Yes. Works with Bluetooth and cord.
Q: is the compatible with a 2007 honda civic?
A: Apparently all the basic stereos that don't have a big separate screen are compatible with any car model.
A: My car had steering wheel controls before I installed this Pioneer head unit too. I've priced a few adapters, and decided not to go through with wiring them in for a couple of reasons: I found them to be too expensive, when it seemed like a pretty tricky installation, and I had no guarantee they'll work well. Also, I figured steering wheel controls were something I just had to give up when doing a custom stereo installation. Finally, this unit comes with a remote! There are little "holsters" you can buy that are designed to hold the remote control, and they might strap onto your steering wheel easily. Maybe you can even make something yourself. Keep in mind – I think they need line-of-sight for the IR sensor to pick up each button pressed. You can always just hand it to your passenger, or even someone in the backseat.
A: Installation charges are determined by your local Best Buy, call or stop by to get a quote. An installation kit for the 1999 Toyota Corolla is available, so no problem having it installed.
Q: will it fit my 1998 mercury villager
A: Yes. They make adaptors to properly install the CD player in any car. They also make "smart cables" to plug into your factory radio harness. All this could be purchased at best buy or you can have them install it.
