I use the hands free calling all the time while driving at highway speeds. The microphone installed with the radio is a really good one and if you have the microphone angled toward you at the right position, the people who are calling you will have no idea that you are even driving. It's really easy to push the talk button to answer but when you are trying to call someone through the radio, it is very distracting while driving to scroll through your contacts to find the person that you want to call.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is actually very good, very clear. Much more so than my Alpine stereo's, even with the same external microphone in place. That was always problematical for me and listeners. But not with the new Pioneer. And it hasn't yet failed to promptly connect up with Bluetooth automatically.
