The advantage to the 42mm is it's larger in regards to texting, pictures, icons, etc. So for older eyes or for someone that has difficulty seeing, this could be a factor. I had a Series 1 38mm and upgraded to Series II a week ago, solely so I could "gift" the Series I to my daughter. She wanted one so bad but couldn't afford it. So I seriously considered upgrading to a 42mm as a girlfriend of mine had one and I liked the bigger face, much easier to read. However, I have small wrists and it just was WAY too big for me. Had it not been for that, I would have paid the extra $30 and got it.

A: You can remove about 5-6 links.

A: Comes with a tool to remove pins. You can remove up to 6 links. I have a very small wrist and could not find one small enough. This one does after removing 5 links.

Q: My pin removal tool broke at the pin on my first use. I followed the instructions as best as I could so I do not know what caused the failure. The pin broke at a spot very close to the end of the tool and I do not think it can be removed with pliars.

Fits beautifully
I purchased this band as I wanted one with a bit more substance than the silicone band that came with the sports watch. I was surprised at how well the band matched my rose gold watch. It was very easy to exchange the bands. I also like how easy it is to open the band with just a click. I am very pleased with my purchase

My wife wanted this watch band and had looked for them on line as well. We bought it at Best Buy and she is constantly getting compliments on it.

Great watch band!
After reading the reviews I was somewhat nervous to make this purchase, but it was on sale so I went for it. It was a great decision! The watch band comes with a tool to remove the links and instructions on how to do it. It didn't take me much time and I only had to remove 2 to get it to how I like it. The watch band doesn't match the rose gold Apple Watch exactly, but I knew that and I like that look. Overall, great band and for $19.99, it was a great purchase for me!
