A:Answer If I had to guess, its because it uses an amd processor(they tend to be slightly slower than intel, but are more power efficient and increase laptop battery life), the chassis is not the highest quality and is mainly made of plastic, and the battery life is not the greatest. For general web surfing and youtube videos, I get somewhere between 5-6 hours.
