• A:Answer This laptop is probably overkill if all you need to do is run Photoshop with basic desktop apps (Chrome, Excel, etc.) at the same time. However, if you are a media professional that could use all of the computing horsepower, then this could be good choice. Keep in mind that as this is a gaming laptop, it will have a dismal battery life. In that case, aim for an ultrabook laptop.

• A:Answer You can check the remaining battery charge by clicking on the battery icon on the taskbar, usually at the bottom right corner of the screen. If there is no battery icon, here are steps on how to add it: Press and hold (or right-click) any empty space on the taskbar. Select Taskbar settings , scroll down, and choose Select which icons appear on the taskbar. Set the toggle for Power to On.

• A:Answer Yes, this would be good for blender but there are a couple of downsides. One downside is that if you use an apple pen or your finger it will not work because the laptop is not touchscreen. I’m not also sure if you’re talking about the blender that you use for model rendering and animation. Hopefully this helped.

Q: QuestionDoes the camera support Facial Recognition for Hello Windows login?

• A:Answer On 07/24/23 I online chatted with Acer Technical Support rep who confirmed this model does not have Facial Recognition capabilities to support Windows Hello login. NOTE: You must have an IR capable camera. You can determine by opening Device Manager and expanding the Camera feature. If you see two cameras, one with IR, then your PC supports Facial Recognition for Windows Hello login.
