• A:Answer Yes, it comes configured to vent out the front over the door. But can be changed to vent out the back(wall vent) or up thru roof(stack roof vent)

• A:Answer I have come across this issue on other microwaves as well. There is a chip on the control board that controls the dimming function of the light under the microwave. When the lamp shorts out, it can take out the chip. This is only for the lamp under the microwave.

Q: QuestionI assume from one of the answers the microwave can be vented inside. Is it out the front or up? We do not have a way to vent it outside.

• A:Answer It's louder than others I've heard but it has 2 speeds. The lower speed is much quieter. But the high speed is better than a forced air furnace blower. I vented mine through the wall and into the attached garage (Condo). The fan really pulls any smoke or odors up through the aluminum filter and out into the garage. I love this new Amana. Simple key pad, sturdy, cooks faster than my counter-top microwave of the same wattage, and a super price! I also bought an Amana Gas Range to match. Open box. Saved $114 because the manuals were missing.

• A:Answer I have a 30" exact opening with cement wall on the left, although width is 30" is the width it is NOT the operating width (which includes the swing of the door). I cannot find these specs, odd because there are i ternal door swings youd think the customer would be equally intereseted in operating swing as they are installation swing. :/

• A:Answer Hello Sheri, per the Use and Care Guide: Programming tones and signals. Programming tones may be turned off or all tones (including end-of-function signals) may be turned off. To turn off programming tones, touch and hold number pad “1” for about 3 seconds, until a confirmation tone sounds. Repeat to turn back on programming tones. To turn off all tones, touch and hold number pad “2” for about 3 seconds, until a confirmation tone sounds. Repeat to turn back on all tones.
