- Answer Why not check what is installed from ASUS and install a matching 8GB card. Mine came with an 8GB Micron card and I matched it. Works perfect.

- Answer No. This is a laptop. Laptop CPUs are soldered to the board. You can, and in fact i highly recommend you to, upgrade the RAM and add in another SSD. i put in a 16gb kit of team force 3200 RAM, and a WD Green 2tb SSD.

- Answer to go back in time to when that was a thing? you can get a 2tb nvme ssd for under 200 dollars now. and this laptop comes apart easily and has a space to add in another drive.

- Answer Mine only had a place for an M.2 drive. The connection for a 2 1/2 inch drive was not on the board and there was not any mounting brackets. You better open yours up and see what is available.

- Answer Mine did not have any connection or brackets for a 2 1/2 inch drive. It has a space for an M.2 drive. You better open it up and see what is available.
