- Answer I purchased this system about 3 weeks ago. I haven't experienced this issue. My only complaint is that the cord on the main phone is too short. (I am speaking about the cord that is shown in the picture).

- Answer I realize it does not record incoming call if you setup for 5 or 6 rings for answering machine picks up. Although the manual says you can set up 6 or 5 rings.
