- Answer Press Menu. Then scroll with CID or DIR until you get to #RINGS. 3 is default. Can change to 6,5,4 or 2. Press Menu again to save.

- Answer Each handset comes w/ it’s own phone battery, that has a special plug wired to it. Unfortunately, I bought it for someone else in another state, so can’t open and give a #. So far the phones are working fine, FYI.

QuestionI would like to have a five phone system with call blocking and intercom between all phones. I do not want anything with a lot of bells and whistles. I have an old Panasonic system which was great, I guess they don't make it anymore. Suggestion please!

- Answer Well, I would stay away from AT&T. The phones are cheaply made, the tone and clarity is not good (I never had this problem in over 30 years) and the light stays on suggesting calls....when there are no new calls. Difficult to remove previous calls and I cannot for the life of me remove calls on the answering machine so I've turned that off....I may just have a set of phones that are 'lemons'. I can't say. But, because of the cheap materials I would not purchase these phones again. Hope this helps.

QuestionCan you make 3 way calls? Just to be clear I mean if I have call on the line can I press flash and get dial tone and dial 2nd party and press flash again to join calls. Last cordless I bought doesnt have this feature. I press flash and nothing happens

- Answer That feature is part of your phone service provider and that will be considered more of a conference call service. Ask your phone provider. Good Luck

QuestionPlease explain how the remote access feature works. I am often away from home and wonder if I have any messages.

- Answer Dial your home number, when the answering machine answers, you enter your passcode. The system will then tell you how many total messages (new and old) there are, and then plays the new messages. There are also commands you can enter: 1 Play all messages. 2 Play new messages only. 3 Delete the current message. 33 Delete all old messages. 4 Repeat the playing message. 44 Listen to the previous message. 5 Stop playback and recording. *5 List remote commands. 6 Skip the current message. *7 Record a new announcement. Begin speaking after the long beep. 8 End the call. 0 Turn the answering system on or off.

- Answer Hearing back ground noise regardless of frequency is caused by system not being properly grounded. Do you have a regular LAND LINE (Plain Old Telephone ei. AT&T) or VOIP (Voice Over I.P) meaning your phone is connected in back of your Internet Modem?

QuestionReceived this unit yesterday, only received 1 battery, therefore only 1 phone works. Now I must search and pay for 2 additional batteries. How much extra will this add to original purchase, and where do I find them?

- Answer It should have came with a battery for each receiver, so if a battery is missing, try contacting the Best Buy store from which the item was purchased. (If it was a open box purchase, the missing batteries may never have been returned by the original purchaser.). If Best Buy is unable to assist, the phone should be under warranty, so contact ATT on their website www.telephones.att.com or call 1 (800) 222-3111 if in the US. Per the Manuel, the replacement battery is model BT162342/ BT262342 which ranges anywhere from $5-$12 depending on the seller.
