Does this remove cat urine? null

Yes it worked for me as my older cat is having issues

It cleans any oder in the carpet

I used this for the first time and it lifted urine that had been stuck on a carpet for ages. I would typically scrub off cat urine with a cleaning spray and brush but when I used a vacuum carpet cleaner with this solution you could smell the urine lifting off so that to me says it really works and I even did a few more passes around those areas. Carpet was left looking new and no urine marks left nor smell (I have red carpet and urine stains with general cleaning solutions on it stained it yellow which I thought would never come off, but they did when I used this product).
