  • QuestionWhat's the difference between this and the CCM663 ?

    Asked by dude.

    • Answer The CCM663 has a cast aluminum basket for a more rigid structure that gives you bass with more snap. The CCM684 is stamped metal. The CCM663 uses an Aramid Fiber midrange for a more neutral sound while the CCM684 uses glass fiber. The CCM663 uses an aluminum dome tweeter with Nautilus swirl technology for clearer/smoother high frequencies while the CCM684 uses a soft dome tweeter. The CCM663 features a 6" mid bass driver while the CCM684 uses an 8" mid bass driver. If you need something bigger sounding, go with the CCM684. If you want clearer sounding, go with the CCM663. Both great speakers.
