A:AnswerI would play it safe and not use metal. That is the biggest disappointment with this Brand - they did not give very good or really any user instructions in their manual. There is a whole slew of buttons inside the door and the manual doesn't even mention them. Really disappointed in them as that make us have to search internet to just try and figure out how to use it. They don't even have online instructions.
A:AnswerIf you're referring to the fact that the illumination turns off that's supposed to happen. Mine never illuminates unless I'm using it. You can hit start and then cancel and it'll immediately stop with the lights.
