A:AnswerYes! And it works very well from any app that uses AirPrint, even the picky Coupons.com app my wife uses.
I love the Brother App for scanning. You can straighten the scan, scan multiple pages, choose to save as image or PDF. You can even send it to Evernote, iCloud, DropBox, email, etc. Can't express how easy it is and how happy I am with it.
So this is great for printing and scanning from iOS. My family has used it with iPad Pro, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6.
A:AnswerYes, this model is compatible with Android devices and can use any of the following apps: AirPrint™, Google Cloud Print™, Brother™ iPrint&Scan, Cortado Workplace, and Wi-Fi Direct®.
A:AnswerYes, it can print on envelopes and non-standard size paper. I use this option all the time to printer address labels.
Just above the paper tray, there is a little flap that opens to reveal a slot for envelopes and labels. You adjust the sliders to accommodate the envelope, insert the envelope into the slot, set your software to print correctly on the envelope, and then choose the 'Manual Feed' option in your print dialog box. That's it.
A:AnswerYes, it can fax.The manual says it can fax, and it has a fax button. I haven't tried this one, but the All-in-one I had before this one COULD fax, but would not fax because we had Cox as our land line provider. It faxed on a regular analog line, but not digital. You should have no trouble faxing with this model as long as you have a regular analog phone line.
A:AnswerThis was not as simple as it should be. I had to literally sit it close to the router for initial setup. The printer told me to do this and it was necessary. It took a few tries before I saw my network (I went through the menu options to connect). Once it showed me my network name, it was easy to enter in the password. Once it connected, I moved it to the other side of the house, where it sits and works beautifully.
Everything else has been a breeze. I am very happy with this printer/scanner/copier.
A:AnswerYes it is. I installed it using a Windows 7 Home operating system. I then upgraded the laptop to Windows 10 and it is still compatible. I hope this helps.
A:AnswerThis Brother product was amazingly easy to set up and it works with your iMac running El Capitan, it prints from your phone, tablet, and other PCs.
Great printer so far..
