Q: QuestionMy cafe double oven vents all of the heat from the bottom front into the kitchen. We have installed a vent in the wall behind it that goes into my garage but it still comes out forceful after baking is complete. Any suggestions?

• A:Answer Hello. We appreciate you letting us know of this situation with your double oven; we know a concern related to venting may be worrying, and we’d like to assist. This model is designed to vent from the bottom front; there is no need to also vent from the rear. We regret any inconvenience the bottom front vent may cause, but as long as the installation instructions and clearance needs were correctly followed, the venting from the bottom front should be working as it’s supposed to. A vent in the rear wouldn’t necessarily reduce or redirect the venting from the front. If it may help, the Installation Instructions are available if you go to our Café website, look up the model number, go to the product page and click the ‘For Owners’ link. Q: QuestionOur current opening is 57 1/8". The Cafe CTD70DM2NS5 oven is 53". Is there a Trim Kit available to cover the 4 1/8" gap?

• A:Answer Hi there, and thanks for your interest in this attractive double wall oven! We know how important fitting the unit into your existing space is, and can advise the cut-out dimensions should be 28 ½” W x 51 13/16” H x 23 ½” D. The model comes with a bottom trim, and can be installed with a pedestal if needed. With the pedestal included, the maximum cut-out height would be 51 15/16”. Unfortunately, we do not have a kit at this time that would fill the rest of your current opening’s height. We regret any inconvenience that may cause – the best option may be having a cabinet professional alter the cut-out to fit the needed space. Q: QuestionMy old double oven has the electrical hookup at the bottom. Does the Cafe have it at the top or bottom? If it's at the top I suppose I have to have an electrician move it to the top.

• A:Answer Hi there, thanks for taking the time to ask! This model only has one timer available to it, but it does have timer nonetheless. To use the kitchen timer, Press the stopwatch icon, select the amount of time for the timer to operate, and press Start. The oven will continue to operate once the timer countdown is complete. • A:Answer Greetings, We'll be happy to answer your question! We do not measure the sound level of our ranges/wall ovens. It is normal for the fan to cycle on and off frequently during the convection cooking cycle. Algorithms decide when elements and fans should run to create the optimal heat distribution within the oven cavity. The fan or blower could come on during any operation. The oven-cooling fan for the electronic controls is controlled by a thermostat. The cooling fan may run throughout the entire bake cycle and continue even when the oven is off.
