Q: QuestionAre there aftermarket metal replacement knobs available? Is the lighting part of the knob? It appears that only MONOGRAM offers metal knobs. Are they compatible with cafe & profile cooktops?

• A:Answer No, there aren't any aftermarket knobs available. The knobs are made of a high temp plastic and offer a stainless appearance. If they were stainless, the knobs would be too hot to touch. The lighting is part of the knob. Joyce@CafeAppliances

Q: QuestionHow resistant to fading are the indicators/markings around the knobs; are they raised markings? We have a GE cooktop that is about 11 yrs old and the indicators around the knobs have completely faded away after just 6 yrs.
