- Answer This works on WiFi or an Ethernet cord plugged directly into the cameras attached port. You do not need to buy an adapter it’s built in

- Answer No recording of free version. No timeline showing past detections in free version. Upgrade works for one device only. 2nd and other devices cost more per month. Another location is considered a different plan and requires another full premium service. Two homes with two units each will cost over $600 per year.

- Answer It is easy to set up, it takes no longer than 15-20 minutes. Including the app set up on a mobile device and setting up a new account.

- Answer No, not that I know of. It records to Canary's server upon motion activation, and you have access to those recordings for 12 hours at no charge. If you want access beyond 12 hours, there are 2 or 3 tiers of paid subscription that you can choose from that are relatively reasonably priced.
