A:AnswerNo sorry, this adapter is for RF mount type cameras, it goes from RF to EF not the otherway around & there isnt any that go the other way I looked. You will be forced to updated your camera if u want to use RF lens but there is a large selection of ef and efs lens out there.
A:AnswerThat grinding is the infinity focus motor on your lens moving while attached to the adapter. It's a common complaint with the adapter. I think it has to do with the fact that some RF glass doesn't have infinity focus and the camera wasn't designed for it? It's annoying but so far in my use, it hasn't been a major issue.
A:AnswerThe 60D does not have an RF mount on it. It has a Canon EF/EF-S. So technically it doesn't have to this because you can mount Ef lens on it. As to getting closer to your subject in photography look into getting yourself a macro lens. I hope this helps.
