A:Answer If you want to print something from the computer/ screen, yes, then of course you need a computer, but you can just put something on the printer plate and print /copy it, w/power on.
am a senior new to cell etc. stuff, wifi, until a year ago had cords, cables, LAN, usb cords, and landline, etc.
but as I understand, you can set this printer up with easy to understand instruction, with wifi to connect to devices, to print from computer, or even cell phone (which I have no intentions,
I still use old Win7 laptop), but this is a great little printer, makes clear clean copies with nice color.
