- Answer These are not powered speakers. You will need to connect them directly to your receiver or power amp. I'm sure they can handle more than 100WPC. Start off with getting a used amplifier with maybe around 200-250WPC and see what you think.

- Answer Gibson Guitar has filed for Bankruptcy and as a result sold Cerwin Vega Home Audio back to Cerwin Vega Professional Corp. So, none of the CV Home XLS products are being produced at this time. We will have to wait and see if CV Professional who now owns CV Home will continue the XLS Line.

QuestionDo the grills/covers easily come off the front? Can they be used with them off?

- Answer The grills come off easily and yes, the speakers can be used without them. It will not affect the sound one way or another. Although, some true audiophiles prefer to listen to their speakers with grills off. These are not audiophile speakers.

- Answer Cerwin Vega does not make a dual 12'', they do have a dual 8'' though.
