QuestionCan the exterior ring only be turned off by whoever set up our ring 2 video doorbell? Anytime my kids run up to the front door it activates the outdoor chime. I've looked through my app-nothing, my husb is who set everything up initially.

- Answer In the ring app, you can set how your system works when you select disarm. On mine, when we go outside to work around the house or when family is over, we just disarm ours and the motion alerts are all turned off till we rearm it in the app.

- Answer The Ring Chime Pro IS a WiFi extender so it helps if your WiFi signal isn't strong enough to reach certain areas.

Questionhave a ring doorbell, looking to add a wireless camera. how fare will the wireless camera reach as I want to put it on my garage that is about 200ft from my home router. will the chime pro help this?

- Answer Did not help a whole lot for me. My outdoor camera is around 60 ft from my router with the ring chime pro directly in the middle between the two. Started with -74 signal strength without it and -66 with it so the 200 ft you have to get to maybe too far unless you have a really good router to send a strong signal to the pro.

Questiondoes this extend all your wi fi in your house or just the ring door bell. my son told me it might make things worst. but i don't understand why because i'm old !

- Answer It only extends your Wi-Fi signal closer to the doorbell so that you are able to connect it and receive your alerts. It will not extend your Wi-Fi range throughout the house nor did it mess up our connection but it helped our Wi-Fi reach the Ring Doorbell so that it was operable. Without it, the Ring was useless, plus it has various chimes to set the alert too. Worth the investment. Hope that helps.

- Answer Yes, you can easily add the chime pro to your existing Ring system. Simply open the box select add new device in your Ring app and scan the bar code, the same as you did your Ring, piece of cake.

- Answer Yes you can plug the extender in the shed. But this will all depend on how strong your home WiFi signal is. Most of the time it will drop signals

- Answer Having a printer on your WiFi network should not have any impact on the performance of the Ring Chime WiFi Extender. If you're wondering if the Ring Chime will improve your printer's WiFi connection- I don't think so.

QuestionHello, our Comcast router/modem is in the back half of the basement, we have the ring pro doorbell installed on the upstairs front door. Will this work to extend the WiFi signal to the ring pro doorbell? The ring pro works, just a 2-3 sec delay.
