QuestionI work in a commercial office building and the cell service is low nearest to the windows. Could we set this device/antenna in the window sill to boost the service? We do not have access to the roof or exterior of the building. Thanks

- Answer Probably a safety hazard if put on the outside of a building window of a commercial area. Could be wrong but pretty sure if something did, insurance would file it as negligence.

QuestionCan the amplifier be mounted in "cold storage" space? this space is not controlled temperature wise, temperature may vary from -10 to 120 degree Fahrenheit. I live in Minnesota.

QuestionI have installed according to directions. Much better service but still sometimes drops calls. Can I install a second outside antenna with a splitter and have both outside antenna's going to my inside antenna? I can point it in another direction.

- Answer We live that far from our 1 and only cell tower and also only had 1 to 2 towers on our cell phone. This boosted the signal substantially and although pricey, it was a much better choice than paying a landline bill every month. IT's pay for itself in 10 months or less.

QuestionHow does the antenna attach to the house?

- Answer We used a piece of 3/4" conduit and fastened to the side of our building and used benders to bend around the trim on the building. Went about 2-3 foot above roof. Held up in 50mph wind so far.

- Answer Yes the WeBoost, depending upon the square footage size one your choose, will help greatly. We were in the same situation with only 1 cell tower to service our remote area and living on a 13,320 acre lake and this 1 tower being the only 1 to service the entire lake area. We live only 3 miles from the cell tower but only ever got 1-2 towers whether we were in out out of the house. Unfortunately we had to hire an electrician to install it because neither my husband or me is able to get up on a ladder on top of the roof to install the exterior antenna box and we needed more cable than was supplied with the WeBoost, but it was worth it in the end.

QuestionI have a sister who live in a rural area serviced by verizon towers, she has a straight talk phone will this booster work for her?? Her call are terrible we have to redial numberous times just to finish a conversation.

QuestionDoes the booster work on an apartment building. All the installation must be done indoors. No access to roof, balcony. Windows cannot be opened

- Answer Thank you for your question. This booster may work indoor with the external antenna inside, but it's generally not recommended. Its usually difficult to get the proper separation requirements between the internal and external antenna when all inside a building.

QuestionMy question is about data speed. If I get 6-15 Mbps download speed when I am outside, will this not only maintain, but INCREASE that speed indoors? Or will the speed be only as as fast it would be if I were on the roof myself? Also is it consistent?

- Answer Thank you for your question. The booster should help increase your speed as long as the signal is stable, but will at least bring that current speed inside the home. Question3 floor house in a valley in Seattle. Signal without a booster is about 1 bar max. If outside antenna helps, any benefit to adding 2nd/3rd inside antenna for better coverage on floors? Do you provide instructions and/or a kits for adding?

- Answer Thank you for your question. It is possible to split signal to additional indoor antennas, but it's generally not recommended with the Connect 4G unless the starting signal is very good. QuestionThe living space is inside an metal agricultural building, 2 stories. Does the product work inside a metal building. Plus we are way out in the country. Cell phone sevice outside of the building is good . If we buy and does not work can we return?

- Answer Thank you for your question. We do have some boosters which you can place the external antenna in a window area. However, they are only designed to cover up to 1,500 square feet (1-2 rooms). We do not usually recommend this with the Connect 4G, as it would be difficult to get antenna separation and enough signal to work with. Question-Will this boost 3G and E cell signals as well or only 4g and LTE? - being its a directional antenna, how do you know where to point it?

- Answer Thank you for your question! The Connect 4G is backwards compatible, so it can boost 3G. Your phone will always try to grab 4G and LTE when possible, but the booster will help on either frequency as long as it has enough signal to help. There are a few ways to point the antenna. One is, having your carrier help find the direction of your tower. Lastly, one can place a phone in test mode close to the internal antenna, while another person orients the antenna. We recommend taking signal readings outside to be sure the booster will have enough signal to operate optimally.
