- Answer Yes. You might need to reset the resolution on your Xbox at first to have it displayed on this monitor. It’s easy. Just look up instructions on Microsoft’s website.

- Answer Yes and can output Xbox at 1440p. If you want to use Gsync, you need to use the Displayport output on your PC to the monitor

QuestionSince this monitor has G-Sync I wonder if G-Sync would work with my Xbox One X? I know for sure that most AMD FreeSync monitors will work with my Xbox One X.

- Answer Gsync would not work on your xbox one x but it will still display the video unless your X1X has been modified with an NVIDIA card with drivers to accomodate it. . To be honest, its better to run it off of a 4k TV. There are maybe only a couple of games for X1X that can run beyond 60hz 60fps. You can run it through as 1440p or 1080p and select 120hz, but again, most games have capped FPS on X1X. I use my X1X on 4k to make full use of its potential and my XB1 on my monitor for recording since I run lower resolutions for better captures.

- Answer Yes. To get 144hz refresh rate you will need to use a display port cable and the display port output on the video card

- Answer I couldn't view your link but yes the monitor has G-Sync built in. G-sync can be enabled with PC's using Nvidia graphics cards and drivers.

- Answer Yes it would so long as your card drivers are updated to run GSYNC. I wouldnt push the graphics settings too high because GSYNC can only do so much once you hit 30fps or lower. (For example, the intro video to the game RIME at QHD ultra settings, runs from 90 to 57fps on a 1080ti and I would notice the stutter with MSAA and no stutter with TXAA. However, with GSYNC enabled, no stutters. At 4k, its a different story)

- Answer An Xbox One S can run 4K UHD although most games run at 2K or QHD. This monitor is exponentially better if your son ever decides to venture into PC gaming as this is a 1ms QHD GSYNC and Freesync monitor but the Xbox does not use GSYNC. Also, you will need to buy speakers. In terms of TVs, to get the most out of the Xbox One S 4k capability, you should get a 4k or UHD tv at sizes larger than 32" or 40" up to 75". Getting a 1080p will defeat the purpose of a XB1S and getting an 8k is overkill. I own both a 4k and this monitor but I definitely use the monitor for my gaming PC as it really changes the experience with GSYNC. However, i would use my Xbox One X on my 4k tv since it doesnt have GSYNC but can run 4k.

- Answer Yes it should depending on the model and driver updates on your AMD card. It has adaptive sync which renders the refresh rate to the lowest consistent fps for smooth gameplay.

- Answer It would be far better to connect this to a 4K capable monitor or television to make use of what the One X can do. I've read that on certain games, the frame rate can go up to 120, but that is as high as it will go. For me, I would recommend a 4K setup with 60Hz using a One X.

- Answer Yes it can be connected directly, no difference other than possible software utility tools like equalizer settings but you should be able to access it regardless. It may change the audio device from "Speakers and Headphones" to "Dell xxxxxx" so make sure to make Dell your default audio if you plug directly to monitor.
