A:Answer This comment is not true. The hard drive easily can be accessed. While I do not use this specific computer, I have a similar setup with a main SSD that my operating system is installed on, and an extra HDD for storing files.
It is incredibly easy to store basic files, downloads, etc on the extra drive. You literally just make a new folder and drag in your files, or change your browser download location to the HDD.
It oftentimes can present challenges in installing programs, however. Some programs (notably Chrome) can only be installed to the drive that the OS is on. Other programs can be installed to the HDD, with key files defaulting to the SSD. Because of this, I use Firefox. This does not apply to most programs however, as they allow you to choose the installation location, and you can just install to the extra HDD.
Good luck, and the process is much easier than you would think :). If you can create a folder on the desktop, you can do this!
