Q: QuestionCan you rename the inputs on this Avr?+
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hello. The AVR-S570BT allows you to assign your inputs (Auto/HDMI/Optical/Coaxial/Analog), but source renaming is not an available feature. If you wish to rename your inputs, all the other AVR models in our current line-up offer the Source Rename feature, starting with the AVR-S670H.

Q: QuestionWill this receiver power 25-year-old Bose Cube speakers a subwoofer also 25 years. Are older Bose speakers compatible with the Denon AVR-S570BT?
Asked by Buzz.
- A:Answer Hello Buzz, without knowing the model number of the Bose speakers you have, it isn't possible for us to provide a conclusive answer. If you have the Bose AM5 set, then the AVR-S570BT will be able to power them, but more punch can be had from the AM5 set if you opt for our AVR-X1800H should you want that extra level of performance.

Q: QuestionCan I use sonos wireless speakers system
Asked by GregoryS.
- A:Answer Hello. As Sonos wireless speakers work only within a Sonos ecosystem, they are not compatible with the AVR-S570BT. Any of our AVR's with a HEOS engine built-in (all our current AVRs whose model number ends with the letter 'H') will work wirelessly with our wireless Home speakers with a stereo source feed.

Q: QuestionCan I use this with these speakers
Asked by Bayn.
- A:Answer Hello Bayn. Unfortunately, the make and model of speakers to which you refer are not showing-up on this page, so I am unable to answer your question about what speakers you can use with the AVR-S570BT. I suggest calling Best Buy and speaking with an audio specialist. They are on hand to assist.

Q: QuestionI hooked my polk audio speakers plus a subwoofer and it worked fine. I tried it louder and i got no sound indicating Speaker Protection Activated. Until now, AvR is on and no sound. Whats the fix? Thx
Asked by Lordan.
- A:Answer Hello Lordan. Sorry to learn of this inconvenience. Protection mode could be activated by one a few things. It is sometimes because the AVR isn't getting enough ventilation and is overheating. 6" clearance is required above the AVR for it to breathe well. It could otherwise be a stray strand of speaker wire at the AVR or the speaker end of the speaker cable causing a short-out. Another possibility is the speakers offer a greater load than the AVR can handle at the desired volume levels. Some speakers can be either insensitive or/and have wild impedance swings. In this case, higher power and/or higher current amplification is required. If after investigation it proves to be none of these possible causes, I suggest unplugging everything from the back of the AVR so it is completely without connectivity. Then you want to reconnect just the power cord and see if the symptom persists. If it does, I suggest contacting Best Buy regarding service.

Q: QuestionDoes this receiver support online streaming?
Asked by bluejazz.
- A:Answer Hello bluejazz. As the AVR-S570BT is not a network AVR, it is necessary to have your streaming source of choice applied to your mobile device and use the Bluetooth feature of the AVR-S570BT to enjoy your streaming. All the other AVR models in our current line-up are network AVRs supporting online streaming directly through the free HEOS app.

Q: QuestionDoes this device support Dolby Atmos?
Asked by gogema66.
- A:Answer Hello gogema66. At least powered 7 channels are required to support Dolby Atmos. As the AVR-S570BT has a maximum of 5 powered channels, the models to consider in our S Series line-up for Dolby Atmos support are the AVR-S770H and the AVR-S970H. Any models in our X or A Series all support Dolby Atmos.

Q: Questionwill this replace an ONKYO TX-SR604B ?
Asked by Jim.
- A:Answer Hello. The AVR-S570BT will have a lot of new features not found on the TX-SR604B. If you have speakers with a difficult load, you may want to consider the AXR-X1800H as a more suitable alternative, as it will deliver a greater level of control with your speakers. The TX-SR604B was a $500 AVR in 2007. That would equate to about $800-900 with today's AVR pricing.

Q: QuestionI have an old Sony tuner STRDE835 that needs replaced. Would like to go Denon brand. Have a bose surround sound, TV, Blu-ray player. What would you recomend?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hello. As the Bose surround systems can very significantly how demanding they are of any given amplification, it isn't easy to give a completely conclusive answer without knowing which model you have. I would suggest considering our AVR-X1800H at the very least to drive a Bose surround system, as it is compatible with a wider range of speaker load than the AVR-S570BT.
