- Answer Hello, How well the AVR-S570BT will drive your speakers will depend on a few things. If your Electro-Voice EVS-16B are running to spec, it should work well if your room isn't huge, and you aren't trying to rattle the pictures on the walls of your neighbor's home. It also depends on your expectations. If you are concerned with overall power distribution, we have more powerful AV receivers in our line-up which might give you extra peace of mind.

QuestionCan any of these receivers be controlled thru the Dennon app?

- Answer FALSE! This unit cannot be controlled by the Denon App as it has no connectivity to a wifi network. I sadly found that out after setting the system up. My old AVR 1613 could connect, but not this one. #disappointed

QuestionWill this play surround sound using a projector with hdmi hookup?

- Answer Yes, the Denon AVR-S570BT can be used in a system with a projector to play back surround sound. Connect speakers and source to the receiver, then run HDMI from the receiver to the projector. Be sure to use an Ultra-High-Speed HDMI cable from the receiver to the projector and try and keep the cable length less than 30 feet. If a longer distance is required, I recommend using an HDMI Balun with cat 6.

- Answer My Samsung S95B has an eARC connection at HDMI3. I used a high-speed cable to connect to the eARC on the Denon and it works as expected.

QuestionWill this work with a pair of Polk SDA-1 tower speakers?

- Answer While the AVR-S570H is a very good value AV receiver, it can only be asked to do so much, and the SDA-1 speakers are a little too much for the AVR-S570H. The SDA-1 is a large speaker, designed for use in a large room. Lots of air needs to be moved when driving them in a large room, which requires an amplifier with plenty of grip. Polk SDA-1 speakers require something better equipped to handle their demands, such as our PMA-1700NE integrated amplifier.

QuestionCan I just use this receiver for the atmos speakers? I have the Denon 7.2 but according to the Geek Squad I need the 9.2. Just trying to see if I can save a little money or if I have to buy once cry once.

- Answer This can be done in some instances but will likely complicate the operation. The 7.2 receiver will have to have the processing power for the appropriate number of Atmos channels as well.

- Answer Hello, The AVR-S570BT has had a few features held back to meet it's very competitive price. The graphic equalizer was one of the features left off the list, but we have included tone controls (bass and treble). All our current models which end with the letter 'H' (starting with the AVR-S660H) have a graphic equalizer.
