QuestionI rinse the filter monthly but the vacuum revs up and down with the filter in place. It runs continuously when I remove the filter. This happened once before but after I rinsed the filter it worked fine.

If you have a softer wood, or flooring that may be susceptible to scratching, you may prefer our Absolute model, which comes with a 2nd floor tool - the soft roller. - Answer Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Motorhead cord-free, like all other Dyson cordless, features a run-time enhancing, light-touch trigger. The machine will only run with the trigger held down - which prevents the machine from losing power when moving from room to room or around obstacles like heavy furniture. - Answer You have a battery problem! The trigger is simply that a trigger.it simply pushes a lever down to turn on your battery, the power switch is in the battery these go wrong as I myself found out just recently. After getting a new body for my Dyson V7 I had the same problem it would not switch off, I then found out that the problem was the battery!!!!

- Answer Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The use of the dock that comes with the Dyson V7™ is optional to use. The dock itself doesn't supply power to the machine. Rather, the charger cord threads behind the dock, before it's wall mounted. The charger pin end will snap in to place within the dock, so when the machine makes contact, it's receiving a charge. The other end plugs in to your electrical outlet. There's nothing you'd need to re-wire in your home. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

- Answer There’s a plug that can go from the outlet to the vacuum if you do not want to hang it. But there are mounting screws to hang that make it much more convenient.

- Answer Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. All of our cord-free machines feature a spinning brush bar, which cannot be shut off. The only machines we carry where you can disable the brush bar would be our upright models. We do carry a soft roller head, which is an additional cleaner head that you can use on your V7. The soft roller was engineered specifically for bare floors. You can find that part at Dyson authorized retailers, or direct with Dyson as well. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

- Answer I think you should be fine to use this in asia. The vacuum works well in all areas. Especially with it being cordless you can charge and go anywhere in your house. I use mines everywhere in the car, house etc.

- Answer Hi Abby, this is Kelly with Dyson. The V7 Trigger and V7 Motorhead will both give you 100 air watts of suction power and up to 30 minutes of run time. With the Motorhead, you get the wand and floor tool, which can both be removed so that you have a handheld, like the Trigger. - Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. If you're dusting furniture such as couches, or chairs, the motorized mini tool is great on upholstery. You can also use the crevice tool to reach in between cushions, or the mattress tool or combination tool for upholstery. If you're cleaning hard furniture, the soft dusting brush is ideal for that.
