QuestionDoes this new X2 require cleaning solution ? Should have ours by tomorrow :-)

- Answer I add a small amount 2oz of Bona Hard surface cleaner. You must use a PH neutral cleaner (ie. No vinegar, or harsh cleaning products) to avoid damage to your robot. Yes, the manufacturer recommends their own product but Bona works just as well for 1/4 the cost.

QuestionHow does the robot work for a house with A Golden Retriever? Is it able to handle so much hair and still mop fine?

- Answer No, the dog hair will accumulate on the main axle of the brush causing the unit to stop running.

QuestionI like elements of the X2, especially the mopping compared to my previous robot, but the mapping ability of X2 is disappointing. I can't even manually adjust the rooms. Any advice? Hopefully, it will be solved with an upcoming software update.

QuestionCan the mops be machine washed and re-used on the X2

- Answer Yes you can wash them either by hand or in the washing machine. Do not toss them in the dryer

QuestionI have X1 and its annoying that i have to change from vacuum mode to mop mode. will the x2 automatically recognize carpet and lift the pads similar to the iRobot j7?

- Answer Yes, it does recognize carpet and will lift pads up.
