A:AnswerI was told by the protection plan company the old ink in the printer can't be removed, I asked them about this when I shipped my previous 2800 back to the protection plan company, I didn't want ink spilling out in shipping, they said just tape over the top where you fill the ink
A:AnswerYeah, it does. You will never be able to use normal ink and get correct colors once you contaminate the tank with different inks. The thing is a workhorse so if you want to sub printer just sacrifice a new one and put sub ink in it right off the bat.
