A:AnswerEpson Printers are the absolute worst. I own the WF-3820 and also was effected by this malicious firmware. The company is under investigation and a class action lawsuit has been filed. Google it, you will see the issue.

A:AnswerI couldn't get the printer to recognize my POP settings after multiple attempts and various emails. I did get it to scan directly to a folder on my hard-drive though.
