- Answer Hello CentralPa72. The WF-4820 can scan photos but not negatives. For negatives, you will need a scanner with a transparency unit. We recommend looking at the V600 Photo Scanner as it would be better suited for scanning negatives and photos. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

QuestionThe Epson 4820 used to scan both sides of document until the software update. Now, I read you have to upgrade to 4830 to have this feature. This is trash. Why would Epson do this? With so many other problems we have had with this printer.

If the option is missing after a software update, we recommend visiting our official Epson Support page to re-install the printer driver/software. QuestionI just replaced the cartridges. However, it is printing blank pages. I did all the maintenance procedures like cleaning the nozzle head, alignment, etc. but still printing blank pages. Help is greatly appreciated.

QuestionI have an Epson Workforce Pro WF 4820 printer in April 2023. I use my printer only for personal use. My black cartridge is out of ink. Can I replace only the black cartridge or do I have to replace all the cartridges or can I just replace the black cart?
