- Answer I have used this in the direct AZ Sun for a few months now with zero issues. I just needed to turn on HDR so the video was clear at a distance. Our summer temps have reached 120f this year.

- Answer Toggle "Distortion Correction" to on under Settings>Video Settings>Video Quality, it makes it just a bit smaller as far as coverage

QuestionIs the chime unit acting as a homebase ? Will I be able to connect a cam2 and 2c to it or will I need to keep my base station ?

- Answer No. You still need a Homebase for your cameras. The chime is only for your doorbell. As far as I know, the chime is just for chiming. The brains and storage are in the doorbell.

QuestionIs the chime wifi, or some private wireless connection with the doorbell? Is there a distance limit between the chime and doorbell? I would like to put the chime near the back of the house, but excellent wifi coverage for both chime and doorbell.

- Answer The doorbell appears to communicate with the unit that plugs into the electrical unit directly. Thats all I know.

- Answer As others have mentioned, this is a model exclusive to Best Buy. It has increased internal memory, but is also able to record 24 hours a day for 5 days straight (in addition to motion events), which was the biggest draw for us. The chime is aesthetically more appealing, with a fabric-like finish covering it (similar to the Google Home Mini finish).

- Answer On the Echo if you tell it to show the door bell it will show you who is at the front door motion/bell ( but there is a short delay as it gets ready to stream ) You add a skill and put a routine so that when the door bell is pressed or there is motion it should automatically notify and stream video to the echo show . This is an excellent door bell with some tweaks . Hope this helps .

- Answer It probably will, but you can call Eufy to confirm. If you have wifi service, the doorbell should work in Canada just like it does in the US. I have the Bestbuy 2K doorbell with continuous recording and I heartily recommend it. Remember, the Eufy doorbell records on an SD in the doorbell itself, so if you have wifi, it should work anywhere.

QuestionWe currently have this doorbell camera installed and now we want to get a separate eufy outdoor security camera for over our garage. Would that camera connect wirelessly to our eufy app or would we need to buy a home base?

- Answer You probably already have found your answer but for those with the same question here is the correct answer. The Eufy outdoor security spotlight/camera's will integrate themselves with your existing Eufy security app. They come with a temporary plug that you wire up to the camera while still inside (before mounting) so that you can configure and test the floodlight/camera before mounting it. Once it is added and tested you will see your camera (and you can name it whatever makes it easy to identify within your app) and then you'll know you will be ready for installation.

Questioni purchased this a month ago and have been very happy. it suddenly stopped working. i've attempted to troubleshoot unsuccessfully. the power is connected but i think it's having internet connection issues. i've attempted switching networks unsuccessfully

- Answer You may have to return it. First, I would try to troubleshoot it with Eufy's customer service, they are very good. If it just stopped working, I would also test the wiring to see if you are getting power to the doorbell. Also I have heard that if your wiring is 16 volt, it can cause connection issues. But my wiring is 16 volt and I don't have any problems. Call Eufy and see if they can help you. They have excellent customer service.

- Answer Yes, you can install one Eufy doorbell and keep just a regular doorbell on the other door with the mechanical chime. Just the Eufy doorbell doesn't work with the existing chime, you can use the provided jumper to bypass first on the existing chime.
