- Answer need 3 people work together. it already have mounting bracket included. Two inside people install it in the window. Outside person is a coach.

- Answer I have found that it is wise to clean any air conditioner each spring before reinstalling, so yes. In my experiences there seems to be a musty smell if you don't.

QuestionI am buying this to replace a 16-year-old unit. The H & W are within 0.1" of the existing case. This depth is 6" less. Can I just slide out the old one and slide in the new one? Or would the case and bracket have to be replaced too?

- Answer I had to replace the new sleeve and it came with better brackets than my old one. My old unit was over 15 years old and it had these huge brackets, the new unit comes with smaller and more efficient and easier to install.

QuestionI recently purchased one of these units. Should it be extremely difficult to take out of the cage? The directions advise you to cut the foam, and straps inside the unit. However, the unit isn't coming out easily. Please advise

QuestionIt appears at least one of the reviewers did install thru wall, why won't it work thru wall?? Also how easy is it to change filters? The back of unit will be 20ft off the ground.

- Answer I ordered mine in store to be sent to my house because they don't ship this unit to the store. If you purchase online they charge you around $150 for shipping. However, since I ordered it in the store they didn't charge me shipping.
