A:AnswerAccording to the instructions, if you use the dry mode you have to drain when full. If you use fan or cool functions you don't have to but might depend on your climate.
A:AnswerYou will want to move the window kit with it. The unit pumps out hot air from the back exhaust. You could use it without the window kit I'm guessing it just wouldnt be very effective. Portable in the fact it doesnt have to sit on a window sill but with the short exhaust hose it still has to be close to a window to be effective. I've seen others put in a office or warehouse without the window kit so it can be done
A:AnswerI think this would work well considering the vent hose is long enough. I'd say the hose is about 4ft long maybe 5ft straightened all the way out. You might have to figure out a way to secure the vent hose in the roof vent but I'd say go for it
A:Answerhttp://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Specsheets/FFPA0822U1_0320_EN.pdf
Spec sheet states 9amps @ 115V, so I assume starting watts is 1035. I assume the 877 watts (cool) is the operating power consumption.

A:AnswerVery easy to pop the window kit out and pop in another room. Unless... you do a very thorough job and go overboard in sealing gaps in frame/windows/ and kit lol
