QuestionDo any Garmins give turn-by-turn reroutes like found in google maps? For those missed turns. Need something that would reroute for a uneasy teenager. Thank you!!

- Answer Yes, this device includes the Trip Planner feature that can be used to create and save a trip with multiple destinations. Or if you only want to “shape” a custom route to go the way you prefer, the device has a Shaping Points feature also. Thanks, James

QuestionA few of years ago I received a competitor's GPS (Mag...) as a gift. It had lifetime software & maps. Less than 24 months later the company quit supporting the unit - software and maps. How long should I expect Garmin to fully support a product?

- Answer Garmin has been around for years, and is one of the leaders in the field. I see no reason to suspect that they will not be around longer than you can expect a unit to last.

QuestionIs this unit appropriate for outdoor use, such as on a motorcycle?

- Answer min does not recommend using anything other than a zumo device on a motorcycle. The DriveSmart 60LMT is not water resistant and has not been vibration tested for use on a motorcycle. If you use this device on a motorcycle, it may cause damage to the device that will not be covered by the warranty. Thanks, James

- Answer The Drive Smart feature is on the GPS and does not require any app or data. It tells you when reduced speed areas come up or a traffic delay is ahead so you can go an alternate route.

- Answer Yes, the DriveSmart 60LMT includes the Easy Route Shaping feature. Easy Route Shaping allows adding a shaping point will allow the calculated route to take a certain road or through a certain area without adding a via point or destination to the route. Questioni had a mio loved it it has disappeared now I have a tom tom not enough advance warning speaker not near enough volume does the garmin have better volume and advance notice.

- Answer The Garmin Drive Smart has easily customized volume settings. It gets loud when at 100 to the point where on the phone (speaker phone through radio) friends and colleagues have told me to turn it down.

- Answer You can call the store to be positive but I'm 99.9% sure you would receive a new unit and if this model isn't available still they will give you the comparable model.
