    • Answer We can confirm that the interior of this model is a white painted epoxy finish. The interior light will come on when the door is opened and while cooking.

    • Answer Yes, this microwave is designed to be placed on your counter top. We do recommend a minimum of 3" of air clearance on each side and at the top as well as 1" minimum clearance in the back. We also recommend the microwave be placed a minimum of 3" from the front edge of your counter top to prevent accidental tipping during normal usage. -Vikki@GEAppliances
