QuestionJust bought this W/D brand new, used 2 times now, and every time i open the washer at the end of a cycle, it isn’t drained! I checked the hose, it’s not kinked & it is hooked up properly & not clogged....does this version just not automatically drain?

QuestionTo be placed in a closet, does this require additional space than the depth of the unit? It would be vented in the rear, the unit could be placed so that the vent output from the dryer is the same height as the vent hole in the wall.

QuestionI want to run a slower spin cycle than normal. The manual says the Gentle cycle will spin more slowly, but there isn't info on the spin speeds for all of the other settings. How can I find the speed/RPMs of the other cycles?

- Answer Hi Arnie - Thanks for choosing GE Model GUD27ESSMWW! Cottons / Whites / Colors / Bulky cycles are approximately 19-34 minutes. Speed Wash cycle is approximately 11-14 minutes. Add 3.5 minutes for Fabric Softener Option/Deep Rinse. Also, the cycle run times do not include the time it takes to fill or drain. Maximum cycle times are 50-62 minutes depending on selected cycle. Unitized washer dryer units only have one power cord. The 240V will power the dryer, and the unit internally steps it down to 110/120V for the washer. Be certain both the Hot and Cold water supply valves behind the washer are turned on. The washer will automatically measure the load size and add just the right amount of water when Precise Fill is selected, or use the Load Size knob to choose your own water levels: Small, Medium, Large, Super. QuestionI just got a stackable space maker washer/dryer. The dryer knob is almost impossible to turn to the different settings - I’m afraid I’m going to break it. The washer knob is easy to adjust and clicks neatly between settings. Is the dryer knob broken? Thx

QuestionInstalled new GUD27ESSM1WW 4 days ago. Not much use yet, dryer is quiet first few minutes, just sound of drum spinning, then humming/buzzing and goes until end of cycle. Turn off, restart, noise is still there. Next day, quiet then noise. What is this?
